How did ‘Love, Sassy.’ get its name?

Sassy is an Australian Shepherd mix who was rescued by Alyson from an animal shelter in Minnesota in January 2020. Each collar is made by Alyson with Sassy right by her side.

Every time someone receives a collar, Alyson likes to think a piece of Sassy’s love is being delivered to other dogs across the United States. It’s similar to receiving a signed letter and having it signed at the end - Love, Sassy.

Alyson didn’t rescue Sassy that day at the shelter - Sassy rescued Alyson. These collars are a constant reminder that all dogs (rescued or not) deserve to be loved and cared for.

Are all the Love, Sassy. Collars really handmade?
